Wedding Chapels in Charleston, SC
Uncategorized
- When looking across the Charleston horizon, it is hard to miss the silhouettes of countless steeples, crosses and bell towers. Charleston was originally called the “Holy City”, not only because of their vast abundance of religions but for its many churches and steeples. The city was founded in 1670 as “Charles Towne” with a firm belief of religious tolerance for its citizens. In congruence with this belief, the city developed an ordinance that no building should stand taller than any of their historic church steeples. Because of this, Charleston has become a popular wedding destination for the majority of Southeastern states. Over the years, we have gathered a collection of our favorite churches for photographing weddings.
